Change Through a Cartoon

Nina Allender wrote in a cartoon, "We shall fight for the things we have always carried nearest our hearts, for DEMOCRACY for the right of those who submit to authority to have a voice in their own GOVERNMENTS."-W.W" What is going on is a woman is holding up a sign proving that all women want is equality to men and a right to vote. They are saying that this is what they really want. This is what their hearts desire. They say no matter what the government says or does that will keep going for what they want. Nina Allender used cartoons to send strong and meaningful messages to prove her points about the suffrage movement.
